30+ mph winds, plus snow and ice, negative degrees

I thought: I could never live like this for more than a season (even struggling with it for a couple of days).

I thought: I bet hell for me would be close to this.

I thought: Thank you God for your mercy.



It's also ironic, because I love Nebraska so. I love the weather, the changing, unpredictable, serene beauty, the wind, the rain, the SUN--he gives and takes away. Let us be joyful in all things.
